On April 3, Nicolas Notis, Vice President of Vocational Education and Training at TUV Rheinland, along with Chen Jundong, General Manager of the Greater China Division, and Deng Xiaoqing, Training Consultant for the Zhejiang Region, visited our university for an exchange. The visit was hosted by President He Xingyue, Vice President Zhu Runye, and relevant staff from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, the School of International Education, and the Automation School. Both sides engaged in a deep and multi-faceted discussion on enhancing cooperation in vocational education.

At the exchange meeting, President He Xingyue extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the German TUV Rheinland Group. President He highly praised the significant achievements made in areas such as the China-German Industry-Education Integration 4.0 project, the dual system cooperative education pilot project, and the industrial robot training and examination center. He noted that in the context of global vocational education, the collaboration between our university and TUV Rheinland is not only about aligning technical standards but also about innovatively integrating educational philosophies. This aligns well with ZUME's strategic goal of enhancing its educational standards and international influence in the process of vocational undergraduate education. President He expressed his hope that, building on the existing cooperation, both parties could collaborate to innovate further, optimize and upgrade their partnership, and set a new benchmark for China-German industry-education integration.

Through continuous exploration and adaptation, both parties have integrated their educational philosophies and development strategies, reaching significant consensus on multiple levels. Notis suggested that in the future, both sides could integrate their strengths in vocational education, promoting their mature cooperation model to Africa and countries along the 'Belt and Road' initiative, thereby contributing to the high-quality and meaningful development of global vocational education. To deepen this collaboration, he warmly invited our school leaders to visit German companies, immersing themselves in the vocational education ecosystem under Industry 4.0, to inject new vitality into their future cooperation.

Before the meeting, accompanied by Vice President Zhu Runye, a delegation from TUV Rheinland visited several practical training bases. They highly praised our university's achievements in digitalization and intelligent manufacturing, as well as its advanced teaching facilities and strong vocational education atmosphere. They also expressed great anticipation for future cooperation in more specialized fields.
