Professional features:The Industrial Design course is one of the Sino-British cooperative programs organized by‘ZUME-LSBU Digital Technology Joint School’, established in 2022. It awards a college graduation certificate in Industrial Design. This course is based on international vocational skills standards, combined with the British education concept, oriented to serve regional functions and the regional economy. It aims to cultivate individuals who are willing to work, skilled, creative, and capable of cooperation, with solid design and engineering foundational knowledge and skills, rich design practical experience, good design quality and professional quality, a broad international vision, and keen innovative thinking. The goal is to produce high-quality technical skills talents who can engage in product design, structural design, interaction design, and other work in industrial design institutions, manufacturing companies, and Internet companies.

In the teaching process, teachers should make full use of multiple teaching methods such as task analysis, interactive communication, case teaching, thinking guidance, blended teaching, flipped classrooms, online courses, and VR virtual simulation teaching. The teaching, learning, and practice integration mode should be adopted in teaching. Students can complete the tasks as required and master the teaching requirements of this course by understanding the teacher’s decomposition and prompting of work tasks, as well as the analysis of typical cases and the explanation of relevant theoretical knowledge. Achieving professional competence, in teaching, we should pay attention to cultivating students' learning ability and social ability. Attention should be paid to cultivating students' ability to analyze and solve problems independently, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate with others in a team.
